Video Games

Well, the next generation of video games are coming out. The Xbox 360 is already out, and Playstation 3 and Nintendo Revolution are coming out sometime next year. Usually this is an exciting time for me, but it's not. I'm not planning on getting any of those systems. Why? Well, I guess the biggest reason is the cost.
This baby here is $399. Ouch! And you still have to buy a game and another controller, that's another $80 or $90.

And this guy's price hasn't been released yet, but it's projected to be well above the $399 mark. My $10 an hour-ass can't afford something like that. I can barely make rent and buy groceries.

Another reason is my PS2 and Gamecube have been sitting around collecting dust in my entertainment center. I've been playing computer games a lot lately. IMO they're just better in all aspects.

If you ask me, we're going to see a decline in video game popularity with these new consoles. People are going to shell out all this money and most of the games are going to be sequels from the old consoles. So you'll have these great looking graphics and awesome sound effects, but you'll be playing the same games over and over again. They'll just have different names.

Nintendo claims that they're next system will revolutionize the video game industry, but so far they haven't released too much info on their system other than a picture of the console and it's funky controller.

I'm pretty curious about what it's going to be like, but I'm not holding my breath. I think this will probably be Nintendo's last system because they just can't compete with the other two. They're only redeeming factor is their systems are usually cheaper than most other systems.

Anyway, that's my opinion.

jay is games

Computer games are expensive. They cost somewhere between $50 and $60. Given my current financial situation (I HAVE NO MONEY!!!) I've been forced to look for other alternatives. That's where Jay comes in.

Jay is a college student who is studying video game design or something like that and he searches the internet for free games and recommends the best ones he finds on his website www.jayisgames.com

There are tons of games there. Some of them are surprisingly good. Some of them are kinda gay, but it's there for you to try out.

There's action games

like this

or this

puzzle games

cut and cuddly (this one really got me)

some scary ass games

some games that are just weird

and some that are just pointless

And there's a ton more to waste your time. Anyway.. I'll leave it at that....

Texas

You know, Texas is beautiful this time of year. I thought I would miss the cold weather and the snow, but I really don't.

45 degree mornings that turn into nice 68 degree days without a cloud in the sky sounds a hell of alot better than trudging through slush, scraping ice off the windows, and generally freezing your ass off.

I realized this today while I watched these guys at work pile on sweaters and heavy coats because the temperature dropped below 50.

Fucking wussies.
